While we normally specialize in import cars, we love anything vintage and different that is in good condition, especially cool old trucks like this full size Bronco XLT. The styling definitely dates the vehicle, but the condition does not. We attribute the excellent condition for the body and chassis to the fact that this Bronco a Southern truck from North Carolina. There is no rust, and there are no dents. The interior is also very clean with no cuts in the dash or issues with the panels or carpet. At some point the original radio was replaced with an aftermarket unit, but it does work fine. We were pleased to find all of the original books and keys in the glove box. In addition to being a clean, good looking truck, this Bronco also runs well. The 5.0 V8 cranks right up and sounds strong. It is equipped with a K & N air filter. the biggest problem with the truck when we got it was cracked exhaust manifolds, which apparently are a common item. We have replaced both manifolds and the muffler, so the exhaust is now good. We have completed a thorough inspection and basic service. Everything works and the truck is inspected and in safe working order. The Bronco is perfect for fun at the beach since the rear portion of the top comes off. But it's also nice enough to avoid salty areas so that it stays in good shape. So whether you collect vintage American SUV's or are just looking for something fun, this 89 Bronco could be for you.
