Designed by Pininfarina, the MGB GT is a neat looking car that is both more practical ad more rare than the roadster model. Selling for a customer, this is the first MGB GT we have offered, and it's a very nice example. The current owner has had it a long time, taken good care of it and thoroughly refurbished it in 2010. The MG has been driven about 800 miles over the last 13 years, but spent most of that time in storage. We like the overall look of the car, but what we really like is how clean and tidy it is - especially under the hood. This is not a project car. It is solid, up to date and ready to drive & enjoy right now. The refurbishment included new paint, seals, engine rebuild, new wheels & tires, brakes, wiring, stereo and much more. Changes from original include performance upgrades to the engine, the addition of a Datsun 5 speed transmission (an excellent upgrade) alloy wheels, modern stereo, wood/aluminum steering wheel and the color change from yellow to Aston Martin Gray with black stripes. The original wheels and transmission are included in addition to a storage cover and a service manual. Most of the maintenance over the years has been done by a local MG/Triumph specialist. Our preparation for sale included checking the car for safety, oil change, new axle limit straps, repair to the battery box, some basic tuning and a professional detail. We encourage prospective buyers to come see this vehicle in person. It looks just as good as it does online.
