This classic Mercedes 450SL was originally sold in Germany and later imported to the US in 1983. It has had the speedometer changed to mileage from Kilometers but is otherwise a Euro spec vehicle. It is a pretty simple model with no notable options or luxury features, which isn't a bad thing. And while it doesn't have power windows, a/c or cruise control, one thing this Euro model does have is a more powerful engine - 222hp vs. 180hp for a US car. For multi season, increased security and value, we have added a matching removable hard top. The soft top is in good condition. The original German owner's books, importation paperwork, an extra key and some service records are present. There are some imperfections and wear, but overall, this Mercedes is clean and in good condition for age. It runs and drives terrific and is really a run car - especially with the top down! We have thoroughly inspected and serviced this vehicle in preparation for sale. It is up to date and in good working order. Our preparation included an oil change, valve adjustment, new tires, valve cover gaskets, drive belts, exhaust hangers, power steering fluid and filter.
