The Ford Bronco has been a popular 4WD vehicle since its introduction in 1966. And with the new one available, the market for the older models has heated up.For folks wanting an adventurous classic SUV, the Bronco isn't a bad choice. They are reliable, comfortable, easy to drive and manageable to own - parts are available. This classic full size Bronco is a well optioned, stock, mostly original example. It is equipped with the Eddie Bauer trim package, the optional 5.8L 351ci V8, which was the largest engine available at the time. It also has a limited slip rear differential with 3:55 gearing and automatic locking front hubs. The only aftermarket accessory is the running boards which were a popular add. This Bronco is a clean, Southern truck that has always been here in North Carolina. The odometer has rolled over once making the mileage 144,198. The folks we bought this Bronco from had it for exactly 20 years as an occasional use vehicle. We actually bought two '88 Broncos from them so if you don't like blue, just wait, there's also a green one that will be coming soon! We like the stock, original condition of this Bronco - wheels, radio, suspension, color scheme etc. It is a clean, fully functional vehicle that is in very good condition and in proper working order. The interior is nice - especially for the age, and especially compared to many Broncos priced higher. There are no rips or tears or stains, wear and fading are minimal. The most obvious wear is on the leather wrapped steering wheel, which is to be expected. Everything works including the A/C. The owner's books and 3 sets of keys are present. Cosmetic preparation for sale included replacing the tailgate, painting the tailgate, roof and hood, a new grill, polishing the headlights, painting the wheels, painting the Light Chestnut stripe at the bottom edge, a new spare tire cover, new Eddie Bauer badges and a professional detail. Mechanical preparation for sale included an oil change, brake fluid flush, differential gear oil change, 5 new General Grabber 31x10.5R15 tires, new valve cover gaskets, intake gasket, EGR valve, right exhaust manifold, serpentine belt, hood release cable, left window motor, tailgate switch, heater core, front brake hoses and updates to the instrumentation including a new oil pressure sender, water temp sender etc. This truck runs & drives well and is ready for the next owner to enjoy!
