The first generation Tacomas are simply excellent trucks. They are durable, reliable, long lasting vehicles that are highly desirable and now going up in value rather than down. They are arguably much better looking than the newer versions and many aspects are higher quality, especially the interiors. We are always hunting for these trucks as well as 3rd generation 4Runners. We were excited to find this example which has a lot going for it being a low mileage, one owner, Southern vehicle in a desirable configuration - double cab, V6, SR5 with locking differential. The truck is clean, not rusty, original/unrestored, mostly stock in and good overall condition. There are a few aftermarket accessories including side step bars, window shades, tinted glass, mud flaps, and spray in bedliner. It has been serviced in preparation for sale and is completely up to date on maintenance. The timing belt has been changed. The tires are in good shape. Our work included a state safety inspection, new valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, washer reservoir, wiper blades, air filter, and headlight bulbs.
